Tammy Redasky Promoted Pima Medical Institute Names New Respiratory Therapy Program Director





Tucson June 16, 2004 -- Pima Medical Institute, 3350 E. Grant Road, Suite 200 recently announced that Tammy Redasky has been named Respiratory Therapy Program Director of the Tucson campus. Redasky, who has worked as an instructor for PMI for the past four years, also has an extensive professional background in Respiratory Therapy as a clinician and an educator at Tucson Medical Center.
    
In addition to her vocational background, the Oro Valley resident is a: Member of the American Association for Respiratory Care; Arizona Society for Respiratory Care; Advisory Board Member for PMI's Respiratory Care Program; member of the Seminar Planning Committee for the Arizona Society for Respiratory Care; ALA Breakfast Event Fundraiser and the ALA Asthma Walk for the American Lung Association of Southern Arizona.
    
"Tammy's extensive background as a clinician and an educator, as well as her ongoing dedication to continuous improvement in the Respiratory Therapy program made her an ideal choice for this position," said Stan Bodzioney. "In addition to her qualifications, she shares PMI's conviction to nurture competent medical professionals who can meet the expectations of 21st century employers."
              
Classes are currently underway for the Respiratory Therapy program. Graduates of the 88 credit-hour program receive an Associate of Occupational Science degree. Additional programs include: Dental Assistant; Medical Assistant; Medical Secretary; Health Unit Coordinator; Pharmacy Technician; Physical Therapy Technician; Phlebotomy Technician; Radiography; Respiratory Therapy and Veterinary Assistant.
